BODYJAM®

An intoxicating pot-pourri of movement and music, BODYJAM® is the world's ultimate dance-based workout - a new generation fitness class that unlocks everyone's rhythmic and dancing instincts.

With the emphasis as much on having fun as breaking a sweat, BODYJAM® is an addictive fusion of dance and aerobic moves. The blend includes the latest sounds of hiphop, funk and Latin music, together with the coolest sounds currently topping the charts.



BODYPUMP®

The “fastest way in the universe to get in shape.” Set to awesome music, this innovative class uses a barbell and weights to strengthen all the major muscle groups of the body. Utilizing simple movements, you’ll build endurance and define muscle, without building bulk. You choose your weight, making this a great class for all fitness levels.

 

BODYSTEP®

Push your fat burning systems into high gear with high intensity intervals that will shape and tone your lower body in this fun and dynamic step class. Choose the options and intensity levels that work for you, but be prepared to sweat! This class is a full-powered cardio workout set to pumping music. Burn some serious calories and get back into step with BODYSTEP® !

 

Boot Camp

Work your full body as you rotate from exercise station to station. Boot camp combines high and low cardio, core work, and strength training all into one class! No choreography or confusion, just incredible fun for all!

 

Cardio Step/Ball

Burn fat and shape up with a cardiovascular class that combines step and floor aerobics, kickboxing moves and jump rope work. Follow that up with twenty minutes of toning using focused movements on the fit ball. All levels of fitness are welcome.

 

Core

The “Core” of the body is comprised of the muscles of the abdomen and back. This area is key for successfully doing many activities and feeling healthy overall. Strengthening the core will improve posture, balance, and help you have a better workout no matter what exercise you do!

 

Equipment Essentials

Make our equipment work for you! A personal trainer will orient you to Core Fitness’s state-of-the-art equipment, showing you how to make the most of each machine. Don’t be intimidated any longer! Learn how to create an awesome personalized workout you can use over and over. Participants can work at their own level and use the time to learn, ask questions, or work up a sweat!

 

Extreme Arms

Feel the power of your upper body with a class that will push your muscles to the limit! Arms, back, shoulders, and abs are strengthened by using weights combined with basic body movements and plenty of repetition. You choose your own level of work.

 

Functionally Fit Strength

This class focuses on strengthening your overall body to build coordination and balance, helping you feel more fit in every aspect of your life. Great for all fitness levels or beginners.

 

Intro Classes

Don’t be intimidated any longer! Our intro classes are designed for the beginner. In these classes you will learn basic instruction and technique, leaving you with the confidence to feel comfortable to successfully join the other classes we offer.

 

Kickboxing

Combine solo and partner drills using kicking bags and proper equipment that will provide you with an aerobic and strength building workout. Leave this class feeling both fit and tough!

 

Kick Butt Step

A high intensity step class using intervals to soar your anaerobic training zone. Designed to build power and burn lot of calories. Recommended for moderate to advanced fitness levels, but beginners are always welcome and movements can be modified.

 

Low-Impact BODYSTEP®

This class is a slightly simplified version of our usual BODYSTEP® class. A perfect class for the beginning stepper or those who are looking for a great cardio workout that they can tailor to their individual needs. A user friendly class for those who still want to sweat, but don’t want to be intimidated by group fitness. Perfect for all levels!

 

Martial Arts

In this class you’ll learn the arts of Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts, and Grappling. Focus on physical conditioning while learning the skills of street fighting and self defense. You’ll build speed and develop quick reflexes. A fun and new way to workout at Core!

 

Pilates

Take this class regularly and gain the many benefits of increased circulation and lung capacity, strength, flexibility, and muscular and mental coordination. A series of movements done on the floor, known as matwork, will give you balance and control over your body. Participants to the Level II class will benefit from having taken Level I first, but are still encouraged to join! Pilates is also a way to improve your athletic abilities in other areas.

 

Spinning

Spin classes use carefully designed positions and movements on a stationary bike to infuse you with a challenging and rewarding workout. Spinning is a fun and unique way to get a high- powered workout!

 

Spin Express

A shortened version of our usual spin classes for those who are on the go or new to spin. Gain the benefits of a great spin workout in less time.

 

Yoga Sport

Get all the tools you need to succeed in developing posture, strength, balance and flexibility by making the most of classic yoga poses. Reduce stress and create an inner peace with a stimulating workout that’s great for all levels. Find out that Yoga is much so more than mediation! This is a perfect beginner class and a great compliment to your usual workout.

 

Yoga/Strength

This class s ynchronizes proper breathing technique with movement, combining powerful postures to form a challenging workout. Participants will develop strength while creating a calm within. A more advanced yoga class for those who are ready to rejuvenate themselves with an awesome workout!

 

Yoga Relaxation

Create some harmony in your life by joining this traditional yoga class. Soothe yourself with a workout that will stimulate and stretch your muscles, but quiet your mind and body. The perfect late night workout, you’ll leave class ready for a restful night.

 

Wake Up Call

Rise and Shine! This dynamic class will wake you up with intervals of both cardio and resistance training. Leave class feeling energized for the rest of your day!
